POLICE are probing the theft of a handbag and a purse in two separate incidents at the same Leeds city centre coffee bar within minutes.
The thefts occurred at Starbucks on Briggate, Leeds, on Thursday August 25 between 2.50pm and 3pm.
On two separate occasions women customers placed their led flexible strips handbags under the table by their feet.

Police are eager to trace a man and a woman
embroidered patches who were at the premises that day and may have information which could be of assistance to detectives.
The woman was white and of medium build with long straight dark hair which was parted in the centre. She was wearing a black jacket.
The man was also white and of medium build. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black and brown hooped top and dark coloured trousers.
